Hi I'm Jo Carey from Joey's Nest I'm a longtime Floral Artist & Horticulturist now living in Chillingham NSW, where I combine my passions, knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for a floral life!

My aim is to inspire you.....and consider our natural environment and reinvent your floral dreams!! Come to one of my Floral workshops, which are held at Crystal Creek Estate. (Make an enqury)

From my jam packed garden I grow, gather & combine into arrangements and dried flowers.  I dye/dry the produce and experiment with an abundance of unique Australian Native Flora.

In my busy studio I create colourful dried flowers, unique Flora & pot up groovy plants.  I supply local orders & do weekly deliveries to Local General Stores & Shops across the Caldera.

I have a wealth of Floristry & Horticultural knowledge and a long career in Floristry Small Business & Trainer, including many years of creating Florals & Events theming on the Gold Coast.

Taking advantage of the outstanding Caldera landscape, couples fall in love with the region and choose to celebrate their wedding & reception in one our incredible venues, Air B&Bs, Halls etc.

WEDDINGS

I have practiced as a retail Wedding Florist and Floral Art Trainer for over 30 years.
I would be delighted to assist with your ideas and together create the ideal decorations for the big day!

In this unique setting "Joey's Nest" provides a hands on environment to plan the perfect floral designs for your theming. I encourage this creative process and find my Brides' enthusiasm very rewarding.

WORKSHOPS

What we love with nature inspires us every day. Growing plants and flowers is a therapeutic pursuit and spending time in the garden restores the imagination and inspires creativity!

In my Workshops you will learn to construct a number of Floral pieces, from posies to flower crowns and fun terrariums. Everyone who attends one of my workshops will leave armed with your creations, plus many more take home benefits...
